| Open Rapid Chess Tournament on 2nd July 2000 |
The newly formed King Chess Club will conduct its inaugural one day Open Rapid Chess Tournament on July 2, 2000 at Gokuldham High School, Gokuldham, near Dindoshi BEST Depot, Goregaon East, Mumbai 400 063. The tournament is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. sharp.
The first prize in the open category will be Rs.1200.There will be encouragement prizes under different age groups. Each player will get 20 minutes in the clock to play one round. There will be seven or eight rounds depending on the number of entries. Those who bring their own chess clocks will be reimbursed an amount of Rs. 20.
