: 23rd July, 2003 Address: Note: 1.Each State Affiliated/Affiliated Unit and Special Members of the All India Chess Federation shall be entitled to send FOUR entries. If any Association/Affiliated Unit fails to send its full quota, the vacancies so caused shall not be filled. 2.TWO players each, from the AICF Recognised Chess Academies (Goodricke National Chess Academy, Alekhine Chess Academy Kolkata, Ummer Koya Chess Academy Hyderabad, Nagpur Chess Academy,Nagpur, Chennai Chess Academi,Chennai, Vara Chess Academy, Bangalore & Venus Chess Academy, Mumbai) and special members. 3.The Host shall be entitled to field TWO players. 4.The First TWENTY TWO from the 40th National “B” Chess Championship held at
Jallunder. 5.The first TWO from the National U-25 Chess Championship. 6.Current National Junior Chess Champion. 7.The winner and runner-up of the latest National “B” Women's Chess Championship. 8.Current National Junior Girls Champion. 9.Current World Champion in any category. 10.Current Asian Junior Champion and first THREE from last Asian Championship. 11.All International Masters above 2350 rating as per July 2003 list. 12.All Board Prize Winners of the latest National Team Chess Championship. 13.FOUR players from the areas where no State Chess Association exists. Those players should write to Sh. P. T. Ummerkoya, Hon. Secretary, All India Chess Federation, Nallalam, Calicut – 673027,
Kerala. 14.Any player who donates Rs. 6,000/- (Ex. – National “A” players Rs. 4200/-) Donor should come through the respective State Chess Association/ Affiliated Unit of the AICF. However, AICF reserves the right to accept or reject such entries without assigning any reason. 15.A nominee of the Hon. Secretary of the All India Chess Federation. 16.All Women Grandmaster. 17.If the total No.of entries is an odd no., then the Host Association may add One more entry to make it an even number. Note : Arrears: Any change in timings and number of rounds will be announced by the "CHIEF ARBITER" during the Manager’s meeting. Rules: Resolution of Tie: Session : Rate of Play: All unfinished games will be played in sudden finish system of 30 minutes. Chess
Clocks: 1) Chief Arbiter
COMMITTEE 2) Hon. Secretary of AICF or his representative. 3) Two members from the different Participating Associations. 4) Secretary and two members of the Host Association. 1) Committee shall be formed at the managers meeting to be held at the venue as mentioned. 2) Comprises of 5 members with 2 reserves. Total No. 7 3) These committee members shall be from amongst the senior participants and officials present at the managers meeting. 4) All committee members (5 members & 2 reserves) shall be from different states. The 'TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE' has every right to carry on any addition or amendment to these rules without notice. Such changes shall however be displayed in the 'TOURNAMENT HALL'. 1.Smoking and Consumption of liquor is strictly prohibited in the entire premises 2.No Cellular Phones in the tournament hall. 3.Loud Talk and extra game in the tournament hall is strictly prohibited during session. 4.No participant will leave the venue before the "PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY" without the permission of the "CHIEF ARBITER" in writing.
