| Sridhar wins chess title |
|
Former National "A" player C S Sridhar
of Southern Railway, Chennai with 5.5 points out of seven rounds, won the 13th State Level Chess tournament at Dindigul recently. By winning the event, former National 'A' player Sridhar also bagged the Gopalakrishna Naidu Rolling Trophy.
A Shankar (Southern Railway), R. Kannan (Akshaya Vidyalaya, Palani), M.Ramesh Kumar and Siva (both Dindigul) finished two to five in that order.
