The Salem District Chess Association conducted Open Senior Rapid Selection
& Children Tournament on 17th and 18th of February, at Thiyagaraja Polytecnic, Salem.
Mr T S Krishnamurthy, Vice-President, Salem District Chess Association, gave away Momentos to the winners.

Total entry fee collected,(Rs
5,600/-), has been forwaded to GUJARAT EARTH QUAKE RELIEF FUND, through THE HINDU. This has been publised in THE HINDU dated 26th February, 2001.
