T.J.Suresh Kumar (ICF), (with a rating of 2189), won the Thiruvallur District rapid Chess title for the Pushpavalli Srinivasan Trophy with successive wins over V.Jagannathan, V.Venugopalan (first day's leader with 4.5 points), and K.Gunasekaran (2233) in the fifth, sixth and seventh rounds at the Brittannia HS, Padi.
