A better progressive score saw
K Chakravarthy of Salem clinching the title ahead of IM T N Parameswaran (Air India) and A
L Kasi (P&T) in the third P S Sadasivam Memorial State Level Chess Tournament which
concluded in Tirupur recently. All three finished with a score of 7/9 pts. The Tournament
was organised by Anand Chess Club. National Deaf and Dumb Champion M K Alaguraja of
Madurai finished fourth scoring 6.5 pts.
