champion |
| S.Raghuraman, of Sri Narayana
Mission School, Chennai, won the 26th Tamil Nadu State Sub Junior Chess Championships at
Mangai Mahal, Thiruthuraipoondi, near Nagapattinam, with a score of seven points from nine
rounds. Joining him at the top with equal points was J. Deepan Chakravarthy of Dolphin
Public School, Madurai. But a superior progressive score saw Raghuraman winning the title. It was a three-way contest in the girls' side with R. Mahima of
Karpaga Vinayagar
Matriculation School, Madurai, winning the title on
tie-break ahead of M. Raja Darshini and Nabeela Farheen. |
