| Karthikeyan bags Chess title |
|
T V Karthikeyan, a third year B.Com., student of Loyola College, regained the chess title he had last won in 1998, in the Bertram tournaments being conducted by the Loyola College.
For Karthikeyan this was the third title in the Bertram chess. He had previously won in 1996 when still in school. In the final game, he drew with Preetham Sharma of Loyola College & both were tied for the first place with 7.5 points. On better progressive score, Karthikeyan was declared the winner.
