Seshadri "A" wins title |
| Padma Seshadhri Bala Bhavan SSS,
K K Nagar, Chennai "A" with 25.0 points bagged the Hyundai Motor Plaza's
Inter-School team chess championship, conducted by the T Nagar Chess
Academy, recently. Sri Krishnaswamy Matriculation HSS, K K Nagar tallied 24.5 points to finish a close second while the third place went to Velammal
Matriculation HSS, Mogappair which notched up 19.5 points. The winning
combination from the PSBB team consisted of experienced stars viz., P
Kumaresh, J Karthik, M K Narasimhan and Raaghavi.
Twenty teams from the various city schools took part in the competition.
Mr A P Gandhi, President, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., and Mr Manuel Aaron, Secretary, Tamil Nadu Chess Association, gave away the prizes.
