| Siddarth and Sangeetha emerge champions |
|
R Siddharth (CSI Ewart Boys MHSS) and T Sangeetha (Ethiraj College) won the
Under-20 titles, in the Link India Chennai District Children's Chess Championship, sponsored by M/s. Agil Frieght Logistics (P)
Limited and organized by Chennai District Chess Association at Indian Red Cross Society, on 17th Sept.,2000.
The top two in each category will represent Chennai District in the forthcoming State championships. However, in the under-20 category all the four boys will represent the district in the State championship.

Elect Sundararajan Kidambi gave away the prizes.
