K Gunasekaran of ICF with 6.0 points out of possible 7.0, clinched the title in the Thiruvallur District Senior Selection tournament and won the Sethu Bhaskara Rolling Trophy at Sethu Bhaskara

K Sirajudeen of OCF also finished with 6.0 points but Gunasekaran was announced winner on the basis of his progressive score. Both were qualified for the State Seniors Selection Tournament, which will be held from May 01st, 2001, at
Karur.
The prizes were given away by Mr
Sethukumaran, Managing Trustee of Sethu Valliammal Educational Trust.
