After his third tournament campaign in Denmark,
Visweswaran Kameswaran, the enthusiastic chess star from India, started his performance in Kieler Open, which went on from 18th to 24th of August 2001. He tied for the 17th - 23rd place after achieving a score of 6/9. FIDE Master Christo Wisnewski of Germany clinched the title and Czech IM Leonid Voloshin tied along with him for the first place with 7.5 points. |
