The group of Indian
youngsters have made tremendous performance in various age groups in
the Smith & Williamson British Championships at Scarborough recently. Parimarajan
Negi, India's second ranked under 8 player comfortably took the under 9
title.
Gauri Shankar Manoj,
India's top ranker in under 7 category won the under 10 title while
finishing among the medals in under 8, 9 and 11
categories. His brother Arjun Manoj who got the gold medal in
under 11 category ended up with a bronze in under 12. S Sathya Priya
and Sahaj Grover have done good performances in under 8, 9, 10 and 11
championships.
